For me the first item the elder wand holds unrivaled magic symbolizing great power, being foolish the eldest brother met his death the lesson is that no matter how high and mighty you are you should always keep your feet on the ground because boasting and being arrogant can lead you to your demise. In the story death has given the three brothers magical items known as the deathly hallows that can avoid death these three items in my opinion shows symbolism. Sometimes people tend to fantasize that what if they could live forever and stay young never to age? It would be probably the best thing but immortality comes with a great price. In reality it tells us that we may cheat death by prolonging it for a couple of years through science, but this is not enough to stay alive for forever. The tales of the three brothers reminds us that no matter how hard we try to escape death in the end we will meet with death and eventually die. The implication to others in general are to live simply without greed and to remind ourselves that we are not alone to help each other. What we can do as an individual is limited, therefore we need to help each other. It is not just for academic but also in life.

We have to help each other as groupmates and as friends to be able to achieve writing a good thesis. The third lesson is to be reminded about the importance of teamwork. We should consider all the possibilities or options we have and choose the best one for our good. We should wisely make our decision not just in writing thesis but also in life.

Although we think we are familiar with what we are writing about, we should still be humble and listen to the advice and criticism of other people to improve our work and to be able to write a good thesis. This lesson is related to us writing thesis. The first lesson is to be humble all the times. There are three lessons I learned from the vlog. The life lesson that is common to both of Harry Potter series and the belief of Christianity is also mentioned in the end of the blog.

Another speaker in the vlog, Sir Mark, mentioned why Harry destroyed the elder wand and the resurrection stone in his own opinion as a Harry Potter fanatic.
